Dr. Barber has over 30 years of experience in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Due to his passion for Integrative Medicine, he now serves as Director of Medical Services at the International Health and Wellness Center. He believes healthy aging is possible and incorporates this aspiration into his daily life. Because Type I diabetes has impacted his family’s life, he is driven to find a cure for this disease. Dr. Barber is founding member and past President of the Colorado Springs Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He lives in Colorado with his wife Angie, daughter Margo, and their two yellow labs, and enjoys outdoor activities as well as gourmet cooking and wine.
